Hear are some of the questions I am asked a lot. Hopefully they will help you understand what I do.
Do you dip?- NO! I have an automatic stripping machine that works a lot like a dish washer. Furniture is placed on a turn table and is sprayed with the Chem-CleanŽ chemical at low pressure. Then the furniture is taken from the machine and placed on a stripping tray to be finished by hand with the Chem-CleanŽ chemical.
Why do you call your stripping process "like dry cleaning"?- The primary reason is because Chem-CleanŽ doesn't use water anywhere in its stripping process. There is no rinsing or neutralizing of the stripper, it simply air dries.
What about my chair falling apart after it is stripped?- That won't happen due to stripping. The reason being, we don't use water, heat, or anything caustic. Therefore the process won't damage the glue of joints, veneers, or inlays.
What about the patina of my furniture?- The Chem-CleanŽ stripping process has no bleaching action, therefore the patina will be preserved.
